4-H Recycled Articles Contest 2005
Recycling articles is a way of being creative and economical. A person may enter a recycled
article into our contest for the St. Joseph County 4-H Fair in one (1) of the
following categories:
| a) Clothing items (woven or knitted) |
c) Bottles or cans |
| b) Furniture items |
d) Miscellaneous |
Judging will be by grade:
| Division 1 - 3rd Grade |
Division 2 - 4th Grade |
Division 3 - 5th Grade |
| Division 4 - 6th Grade |
Division 5 - 7th Grade |
Division 6 - 8th Grade |
| Division 7 - 9th Grade |
Division 8 - 10th Grade |
Division 9 - 11th Grade |
| |

Division 10 - 12th Grade and Up |
Ideas for recycled articles can come from magazines, books, stores, friends, neighbors, etc.
Here are some examples for each category:
| a) Clothing - hats and purses from blue jeans |
c) Bottles - cans - cannister set |
| b) Furniture - coke cases made into end tables |
d) Miscellaneous - greeting cards as baskets, etc. |
As part of the 4-H Recycled Articles contest, an ** Article must have the Following Record Sheet
which shows the before and after picture taped or glued onto this sheet and must accompany the
submitted project **.
