Trashing A Pizza

This June, Miss Jessica conducted a school aged program for the St. Joseph County Library. In the program, she highlighted the percentage of each type of waste (a waste stream) a typical person discards as trash each year. Each type of waste stream was depicted on the pizza. Surprisingly, much of the items discarded as trash can be recycled.

This would save our landfill space and conserve the valuable resources.
